Diocese of New Hampshire responds to Windsor Report -20/10/04

The diocese at the heart of a dispute within the Anglican Church over its decision to appoint an openly gay bishop has formally acknowledged and expressed regret for the "pain and confusion" caused by the consecration of Gene Robinson. The statement of regret, which also affirms support for the ministry of Gene Robinson, however may not be enough for conservatives - many of whom were hoping for an apology.
