In the highlands of Guatemala, poverty and rising food prices mean many families live for months on tortillas alone – spending just 2½p per person per day on food. Child malnutrition is common –and can be a killer. But a 30-day stay in a clinic could help someone to regain their health.
Christian Aid’s partner Bethania runs a health clinic that provides hugely subsidised healthcare and treats many children for malnutrition. A 30-day stay will get them on the road back to health.
You can give this gift, as a present on someone else's behalf through Present Aid, the Christian Aid gift site. You simply visit the website, choose the gift, and a card will be sent to the person on whose behalf you are giving the charity gift.
