It may well be the high streets first fairtrade sofa.
It comes as part of Marks and Spencer's Fern Collection, which they say means you won't have to compromise on style or comfort to help the environment and make stand for justice.
This eco-friendly upholstered furniture range is made from a combination of eco-materials, including timber sourced from sustainably managed forests and crucially Fairtrade certified cotton, in an M&S supplier 'eco-factory'.
The cushions are filled with Ecoflex foam - a castor oil-based foam, containing 20% renewable resources - and fibre made from 80% post-consumer waste, like plastic drinks bottles - 122 are used to make every 2-seater sofa.
You can also get the fairtrade sofa delivered.
