Award winning author and journalist Naomi Klein will join a panel of experts invited by Christian Aid to debate climate change action in Copenhagen.

The discussion will focus around the essential elements governments must support for a deal capable of tackling both climate change and poverty.

Other guests will include Maas Goote, European Union lead negotiator, a speaker from the Long-term Cooperative Action Group (tbc), Shirley Bolinos, from the NGO Coastal Core in the Philippines, Dr Habtemariam Abate from the Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance and others.

The panel will meet on Friday 11 December, between 11am–12.30pm in the
Halfdan Rasmussen Room, at Copenhagen's Bella Centre. Press, delegates and climate change campaigners are all welcome.
