As well as responding to the devastating earthquake in Haiti with immediate relief, Christian Aid are calling for the full cancellation of Haiti's debt of US$890 million.

They also want all emergency and development funds to be given not loaned.

At a time when Haiti has been hit by the worst disaster in its history, it needs long-term support as well as emergency financial assistance, not loans with strings attached, if it is to ever rebuild.

You can sign the 'Drop Haiti's Debt' petition online now by clicking here. It will only take a few seconds, but it could help to save thousands of lives.
