What are the different accounts of salvation given in Christian and Muslim thinking? What is involved in forgiveness? What do Christians mean when they speak of atonement through Christ?

These and related topics will be highlighted in a fascinating discussion on 'Salvation in Christianity and Islam', featuring two seasoned experts and public speakers, at the London Central Mosque (Regents Park Mosque) on Sunday 4 December 2011.

The speakers are the Rev Dr Steve Latham, Director for Continuing Ministerial Development at Spurgeons College, London (a leading Baptist college) and Paul Bilal Williams, Director of Muslim Debate Initiative, which is organising the event - the first of its kind in a major mosque.

The discussion will take place from 15:00 – 18:00 at The Islamic Cultural Centre and The London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG. The location is the Regents Park Mosque Library, 1st floor. The nearest underground station is Baker Street.
