This morning the conference entitled 'The Eye of the Needle: Biblical Clues to a New Economy' begins in Bristol, co-sponsored by the Southwest churches and Ekklesia.
I am facilitating the event and also contributing. In between, as time allows, I will live tweet what is happening and being said. So will Simon Topping, social responsibility adviser of ISR (@isr_simon).
There will also be reports and commentary afterwards. The gathering is being filmed and sound recorded for posterity, and for video and podcasts.
The keynote speakers are Professor Ulrich Duchrow of Kairos Europa and professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Heidelberg, author of Alternatives to Capitalism and other books, along with Dr Molly Scott Cato, Director of the Cardiff Institute for Co-operative Studies and author of Green Economics.
