Petition for mental health sufferers on DLA backed by 'mass tweet'

A petition to HM Government to exclude vulnerable, severe and enduring mental health sufferers from disability benefit assessments in 2013 has been launched on the e-government website: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/35092

After a short time it is already heading towards 5,000 signatories, and is aiming at 100,000 by March next year.

A twitter promotion is taking place this weekend, with #SignSaveLives hashtag mass tweets being organised for Sunday 16 December at 8pm and Monday 17 December, also at 8pm.

Further tips on making the tweeting initiative a success can be read here: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/kbp0o0

The petition organiser is Lynn Blackmore.
