Operation Noah’s Bright Now campaign is calling for UK Churches to disinvest from fossil fuels.

The campaign has produced an authoritative report, Bright Now: towards fossil fuel Churches, which sets out the moral, theological, scientific, financial and practical case for Churches to do three things:

· Disinvest from fossil fuel companies.

· Take a leading and influential role in the national debate on the ethics of investment in fossil fuels.

· Support the development of clean alternatives to fossil fuels through their investment policies.

Bright Now’s latest report presents the financial case for disinvesting from fossil fuels and explores opportunities for reinvestment currently available to the Church.

Both reports are available to download from www.brightnow.org.uk/resources.

Operation Noah is an ecumenical Christian charity providing leadership, focus and inspiration in response to the growing threat of catastrophic climate change.
