A workshop on faith schools, based on the Association of Teachers and Lecturers’ recent policy work. This is for members who wish to learn more about ATL’s position and some of the key issues. A debate will be led by external speakers with differing perspectives on the issue of faith schools with ample opportunity for members’ questions and discussion.

Ekklesia examines and analyses the work of faith schools and works for their positive reform. It is a founder member of Accord which works to make admissions and recruitment policies in all state-funded schools free from discrimination on grounds of religion or belief. Research includes:
