This lecture was given to members of the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement (LGCM) at their Annual Conference in London, United Kingdom on Saturday 21 April 2007.

Marilyn McCord Adams is Regius Professor of Divinity and Canon of Christ Church, Oxford. She is an American ordained in the Episcopal Church in 1987 and a contributor to Gays and the Future of Anglicanism [2] (Editors, Andrew Linzey and Richard Kirker).
