India, Bangladesh and Nepal are in need of urgent aid and development support, following the latest disaster.
NGOs and development agencies are acting swiftly [1] to the South Asia flood emergency - which has already displaced in excess of 20 million people. Donations can be made via Christian Aid, which operates with secular, multifaith and church partners [2] - and promotes relief and development irrespective of creed. This point is worth stressing, given that there is (rightful) concern in many quarters about 'faith based' initiatives working in a sectarian way.
