An academic body committed to interreligious understanding has hit upon a creative way to change hearts and minds by employing pedal power.

The Woolf Institute of Abrahamic Faiths is holding a sponsored cycle ride in October 2008 from the Pyramids of Egypt to the Old City of Jerusalem via Mount Sinai which will involve reflections on relations between Christians, Jews and Muslims. Funds raised will support the continuation of the work of the Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations and the Centre for the Study of Muslim-Jewish Relations.
