Lecture by David Martin, Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the LSE. Author inter alia of A General Theory of Secularization (1978), Tongues of Fire (1990), Pentecostals: the world their parish (2002), Reflections on Sociology and Theology (1996) and On Secularization - towards a revised general theory (2005).

The lecture will take place at Pembroke College in the Nihon Room. Tea will be served from 4 pm and the lecture will begin at 5 pm.
