The success of arms trade campaigners in bringing the judicial review in which the High Court has ruled that the Serious Fraud Office and UK government acted illegally in dropping a corruption investigation against BAE Systems, under pressure from the Saudis, is a major achievement - though there was an attempt made on the BBC earlier today (10 April 2008) to suggest that it was all a fuss about nothing. The power of the defence industry and its allies in the media is still very strong indeed. See: http://faithinsociety.blogspot.com/2008/04/victory-for-truth-and-justice... [1]
