A variety of bloggers have been involved in a 'swarm' over the Easter weekend, speaking out for religious freedom and against attempts to manipulate the state to an exclusive allegiance.
The initiative in the United States is called 'blogging against theocracy', and is aimed at the influence of a narrow religious right and the presence of 'restorationist' ideology in those circles. Participants have included active Christians and those of other stances. http://www.streetprophets.com/story/2008/3/22/15142/3382
