In Britain, eight million nappies are thrown away each day. A baby requires over 2,000 nappy changes a year. This amount would fill more than 40 black sacks. 94% of nappies end up in landfill sites. So disposable nappies consume large amounts of natural resources each year, and create large amounts of waste.
Bambinex nappies, available from the Natural Collection, are a reusable, washable nappy system
The pack contains all you need to test the range: a washable nappy: organic unbleached brushed cotton, double elasticated legs and rip-tape fastenings for a snug fit, eight layers of cotton wadding for maximum absorbency. You can also use it with the nappy inserts for increased capacity (ideal for night time), and 85% paper liners to minimise staining.
There are a variety of sizes for the reusable nappies - Small 3-7kg; large 7-12kg; extra large 12-18kg and their own independent tests found no TBT in the reusable nappies.
If you are still not sure you can even get a nappy trial pack which means you can try the full reusable nappy system before committing to full purchase. It contains one nappy, insert, overpant and paper liner roll.
