As we report here, a November 2012 ComRes opinion survey commissioned by the Accord Coalition on inclusive education indicates that the British public is overwhelmingly opposed to selection or discrimination on grounds of religion in the matter of admissions to state funded schools.
Today I am off to the General Synod of the Church of England in York, to talk at a meeting about church schools and community benefit.
Following the success of the Accord Coalition fringe meeting at the Church of England's General Synod in February, a further event will take place at the Synod in York, at lunchtime on Monday 9 July 2012.
