The religious thinktank Ekklesia has become the very first 'friend' of Jesus, on the Internet phenomenon Myspace.

The White House has publicly dismissed an extraordinary letter from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad which challenges President George W. Bushís attachment to Christian values by time-and-again asking how his warlike actions square up with the teachings of Jesus.

A four part series which looks at the historical Jesus, and the move of Christianity from Galilee to Jerusalem, Rome and then India, began on BBC Radio 4 yesterday.
