Gay Catholics, their parents, families and friends, will be out and about at Pride London this Saturday (4 July 2009) join by churches in central London.
Just two days after the bombing of the Admiral Duncan public house in Soho, 30 April 1999, London's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered (LGBT) Catholics, parents, families and friends, gathered in a convent chapel in Camden Town.
Gay Catholics from all over the country will be parading behind a 'Proudly Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgendered & Proudly Catholic' banner in the impending Pride London Parade.
In a move that will reclaim some of the ground that is typically occupied by conservative Christians, Gay Catholics are to focus on the idea of 'family'.
