Church World Service has urged a more robust response from the international donor community to Pakistan’s devastating flooding disaster.

The Disasters Emergency Committee has announced today that their appeal for people affected by the Pakistan floods has raised £15 million.

The Disasters Emergency Committee in the UK says aid from its members has now reached over 500,000 survivors after the worst floods in Pakistan’s history.

The Church of Pakistan in Peshawar has launched an emergency relief and rescue programme for those affected by recent monsoons and flooding.
