The United Nations has demanded an immediate halt to expansion of a gas project in the Peruvian Amazon, over concerns of the risk to lives of uncontacted Indians.

Survival International say that Peru’s government is ignoring new UN guidelines on the protection of uncontacted Indians in the Amazon.
