Only a quarter of voters regard Iraq war as successful

The war in Iraq has been largely unsuccessful, according to nearly two-thirds (63%) of the British public. A new poll has revealed that only just over a quarter (29%) of voters regard the war as largely a success.

Tony Blair has struggled to avoid tough questions about the legalities of his decision to invade Iraq. Speaking at the Iraq Inquiry, he said that the Attorney General's last-minute change of mind was legally sufficient.
