People in the UK who have learnt about global issues are more than twice as likely to see the point of personally undertaking social action, according to new research. Schools and the media have been urged to take notice of the findings.
More than 200 organisations including charities, councils, businesses and schools have signed up to an initiative that emphasises the importance of global education in tackling the world’s problems.
