Amnesty International has vowed to continue campaigning for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe as the British charity worker spent her third consecutive birthday in an Iranian prison
Campaigners will protest on behalf of the jailed UK-Iranian woman Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe outside the Iranian Embassy in London on 21 February ahead of an expected visit to the UK of a senior Iranian minister.
Reports that the UK-Iranian charity worker Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been listed on an Iranian judicial database as “eligible for early release” has been welcomed by Amnesty International UK.
Amnesty International has selected a new play about Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe as a possible recipient of its International Freedom of Expression Award at the Edinburgh Festival.
