Britain’s new coalition government “needs to be reminded that there is no economy and there are no jobs on a dead planet”, Christian Ecology Link has declared.

Christian Ecology Link has launched a support network for “Churches in Transition”, part of the Transition Towns movement, and has held a major national conference on the transition to low carbon lives.

At midday today (Thursday) Christians will go to No.10 Downing Street to protest against the Government's recent announcement to build a new generation of nuclear power plants. will present the Prime Minister with a solar powered torch and a sample of insulation material.
