Simon Barrow, co-director of Christian think-tank Ekklesia, is the keynote speaker at Cristnogaeth 21’s (Christianity 21’s) annual conference in Wales.
Simon has been co-director of Ekklesia since 2005 and is a prominent commentator on Christianity and how it relates to public life. He is a strong believer that Christianity should be re-visioned for our age and will speak on the topics ‘Christianity and identity’ and ‘Christianity beyond ‘the church of power” There will be an opportunity to question the speaker and to discuss his views.
The conference will be held at Morlan, Aberystwyth, on 23 June. Simon Barrow’s addresses will be in English and the rest of the proceedings in Welsh. The cost is £20 per delegate, including lunch and refreshments.
Christianity 21 was founded by a small group of ministers and laymen who are eager to interpret the basics of a radical Christianity for the present day. We believe there has been a lack of opportunity in recent years for Welsh-speakers to discuss the nature of Christianity in our age.
