Why, then, is it so important to faith communities? Do the scriptures of the great faiths really teach us how to practise this ‘counter-intuitive’ choice?
How can we be kind, positive or healing when forgiveness does not seem not an option?
This conversation on Monday 6 August, 6pm – 7.15pm, is part of the Festival of Spirituality and Peace in Edinburgh, sponsored by faith and civic groups, the Scottish government, the University of Edinburgh and Ekklesia. It costs £6.50 (£4.50 concessions), with the proceeds going to charity.
