Christian Socialism is 150 years old, and began when the first Christian socialists made connections between the teachings of Christ – justice, equality, compassion – and socialism. The Christian Socialist Movement is the organisational voice of Christian socialism today. It publishes the Christian Socialist magazine as well as policy pamphlets. It also organises educational events to help the Churches and other faith communities work with politicians for the common good.
