EKKLESIA is delighted to be co-sponsoring the imaginative and energetic Solas Festival for the fifth year in 2022… and it’s all happening this weekend.
Scotland’s midsummer events jamboree is a feast of music, performance, discussion, culture, education and fun. Don’t forget the fun!
This year the theme is ‘What’s Next?’ – an opportunity to reflect on the local in a global context, and the global manifesting itself in the local, as we work together for change and betterment for people and planet.
The beautiful Errol Park in Perthshire is the setting for a restorative and celebratory weekend, which also includes a focus on wellbeing, community and workshops.
The organisers say: “Our 2022 festival theme is ‘What’s Next?’ is especially relevant as we re-emerge from the difficulties of the past two years. The theme expresses our desire to creatively explore and look ahead to a positive post-pandemic Scotland.Come and gather, sing, dance, think, dream and heal with us.”
The action starts today and runs through Saturday and Sunday. The specific timings are: Friday 17 June: gates open at 4pm, the festival begins at 7:30pm. All day and evening Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th: music ends at 7:30pm. Monday 20th: campers should depart by 12pm at the latest
