Christ’s difficult peace is not an undisturbed life, but a sense of restored community that impels the church to put reconciliation into action. But is this way now ‘highly honoured’? Or do we need to restate, recover and reinvent peacemaking for the twenty-first century in order to rejoin the path of Jesus, and of peacemakers in other religious and non-religious traditions?
