The proceeds go to back support and advocacy for asylum seekers.
Carrie writes: “These Christmas cards are paintings I made on a theme of a contemporary setting for the nativity. They were inspired after learning about some of the experiences of asylum seekers living in the city of Glasgow. It is a long way from the cosy commodification of festive season and the sanitised version of the nativity often portrayed.”

They come in packs of 10 with envelopes, A6 size (approx 15cm by 10½cm), and are printed on recycled card. Overall, 30 per cent of any profit made goes to support to organisations working with asylum seekers and refugees, including the very fine Unity Centre in Glasgow (http://unitycentreglasgow.org).
