The Mennonite Trust and the Anabaptist Network, partners of Ekklesia in the Anabaptist Network of Organisations, are holding a day workshop on Saturday 18 January 2014 on the theme of ‘multi-voiced church’.
Stuart and Sian Murray-Williams suggest that healthy churches empower all their members to participate actively rather than being passive consumers.
They show how multi-voiced communities are more likely to be effective in their work, in sustaining faith, and in practical Christian action and response.
This is an opportunity to engage with the authors of an important book on this theme, and to hear more about the thinking that informs their work and recommendations in a one day workshop.
The location of this event is the Meeting Place, North Street, Westbourne, PO10 8SP. The fees are £20 per person (£12 concessions) including lunch.
The day will run from 10am to 4.30pm and is being run in partnership with Warren Park Cafe Church, Westbourne Baptist Church and The Incarnate Network.
Prospective participants can book through www.menno.org.uk, or by calling 0845 4500 214.
