On 23 April, the 100th anniversary of the day marked as the beginning of the Armenian genocide, Ekklesia and Harecourt United Reformed Church co-hosted an important discussion on the subject.

The conversation took place between our associate Dr Harry Hagopian and co-director Simon Barrow. Topics included a brief history of the genocide, why naming the events ‘genocide’ matters, and the prospects for Armenians to receive justice on this issue. You can listen to the full discussion here.

A few days later, Dr Hagopian gave a talk to the St Yeghiche Armenian church (with introductory comments in Armenian.) You can watch the excellent speech here.
