Ekklesia is currently searching for a top-notch administrator to help set up our London office, work closely with our new Chief Operating Officer, and get us optimally shaped into a small, mobile, effective and intelligent unit operating on limited resources – but definitely looking to grow.
The job will involve a range of tasks from establishing and streamlining our management systems, through to practical financial management (cash flow, donations, legacies etc.), developing relations and regular communication with Ekklesia supporters, setting up and administering a Trust, managing data and mailings, organising meetings, liaising with associates, handling advertising, conducting financial appeals, overseeing volunteers and interns, and ensuring our logistics and equipment is delivering what we need.
The post will be based at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church. It is full-time, but we are open to a four-day-a-week arrangement. The initial salary is relatively modest, but with plans to increase it as we grow our income in line with an ambitious but realistic business strategy.
We are looking for someone who is seriously well organised, able to think round corners, capable of working to their own initiative as well as collaboratively, and who has a strong commitment to seeing Ekklesia expand and flourish.
* We plan to start talking to people on Wednesday 11th June. Applications will be accepted by CV, with a supporting letter indicating why you want to work for us, and what skills and attributes you would bring to the post.
* Enquiries: email Simon Barrow, simon.barrow AT ekklesia.co.uk, or text your details to 07850 120413.
