Episcopalian leaders are gathering in Utah to respond to a suggestion that they express regret for making an openly gay man a bishop.
The report of the Lambeth Commission on Communion, published in October last year, called on bishops who have allowed same-sex blessings and those who took part in the consecration of gay Bishop Gene Robinson, to express regret for the hurt the actions have caused the global church.
