Charity World Vision has extended its gift scheme – which enabled a donkey, calf, goat, pig, chicken or even school meals to be sent on someone else’s behalf to developing countries. Now people wanting to donate to charities working with countries affected by natural disasters, can do so through specific emergency gifts, such as goats, sent on behalf of friends or family to the disaster zone.
