Make it an inclusive gift

Not everyone gets included in every celebration – and nowhere is this more true than if you are blind or partially sighted.

A new initiative has been launched however which will go someway to overcoming the exclusivity of celebrations whether they be valentines day, mothers day, Easter birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas.

Both personalised Braille cards and Braille gifts are now available online for blind and partially sighted people, ordered through an innovative new web site.

Visitors to the site can choose from a range of creative cards, and then have personal messages embossed in Braille onto them.

Due to the size of Braille print of course, you may not always be able to write as much as you would like. The website however also offers the option to enclose a personalised letter of up to 8500 characters, embossed on high quality paper with the card. This is a free service on all Internet orders.

And if you would like include a gift with your card they can sort than one out to.

Visitors can choose to spoil someone, and send for example some luxury chocolate truffles. All of the chocolates include a Braille menu, so there is no chance of anyone getting caught out with a coffee cream, unless, of course, they want to!

If chocolates are not your thing, scented fresh flower arrangements can also be delivered. The web site has a network of florists throughout the UK which will deliver both the greeting card and fresh flowers.

And the good news doesnít stop there. For every Braille card sent, 75p is donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
