The Catholic Diocese of Westminster have announced a new multi-media resource to promote ‘justice, peace and the integrity of creation’ in the London area.

Entitled ‘No Hands But Ours’ it will be launched next Monday.

‘No Hands But Ours’ is designed to be used by parishes and groups wanting to promote action for change across London and Hertfordshire.

It has been produced by the Diocese of Westminster Justice and Peace Commission, the Diocese of London and the London Church Leaders Social Action Group as a way to encourage a ‘spirit of confidence and power for change’ in what the Diocese describes as the ‘rich but unequal capital city and its environs.’

The resource is made up of an interactive CD, which includes specially filmed “beacons of hope”, stories of volunteers working at the grassroots on issues including homelessness, refugees, Fair Trade and peace, together with interviews with some of London’s church leaders.

No Hands But Ours also includes a booklet packed with information, ideas and spiritual inspiration and details of other resources.

The resource will also be available on the internet.
