The UK is facing an unprecedented housing crisis.

The UK is facing an unprecedented housing crisis. In all parts of the British Isles people are being priced out of the housing market, social housing is decreasing and private rents are spiralling out of control.

Ekklesia is proud to be publishing our latest book ‘Foxes Have Holes: Christian reflections on housing need’ which will be launched at Manchester Cathedral on the 14th April. We intend this book to be the start of a conversation about the solutions to the housing crisis, and what Christians can do to help.

Can you help us with this work by becoming an Ekklesia Partner?

The Partners Programme ensures we have enough resources to carry out our work and  get people more involved in what we do. Over the next four years we want to increase the number of partners to 1,000.

As an Ekklesia partner you will receive:

  • A monthly bulletin giving the inside track on what is going on with Ekklesia,
  • The opportunity to be consulted, play a part in, and have a say in our work,
  • Discounts on our events and publications and free digital copies on request.

If you would like to be part of Ekklesia’s work, you can choose how much you would like to contribute:

  • £5 a month pays for refreshment at an event
  • £15/month pays for a speaker’s fee, travel costs and refreshments,
  • £25/month contributes to the printing of a research report,
  • £50/month pays for half the production costs of a book,
  • £75/month pays for 90% of a researcher’s fees.

If you can’t sign up to be a partner, perhaps your Church or Meeting House might want to become a Church Partner? For £150 or £300/yr you could become more involved in Ekklesia’s work. You can find more details here
