This month saw the Chancellor, George Osborne’s latest Autumn Statement continue to push cuts in areas that will hit the poor hardest , damage the environment and ensure money was available for war . Within a week, the government had sent planes to Syria, after a divisive Commons debate that had seen the Prime Minister refuse to apologise for labelling opponents ‘terrorist sympathisers’ .
Ekklesia believes that the struggle against austerity goes hand in hand with the struggle to end the cycle of violence in the Middle East.

- £50/month pays for half the production costs of a book,
- £75/month pays for 90% of a researcher’s fees.
